Robert Peery, 91, missed the December 1889ERS meeting on Saturday, December 8. He had a stroke that morning. He and Edyth had been taking care of each other for many years. Bob "slipped away" the following Saturday morning, December 15.
Funeral Services - Wednesday, December 19, 1 P.M. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 1755 N. Meridian, Oklahoma City, OK. Graveside service at Sunnylane Cemetery.
Edyth and Robert Peery have been longtime members and supporters of The 18889ERS Society. St. John's is their church and they have been instrumental in keeping the church as the 1889ERS meeting place. Edyth is our Corresponding Secretary: the one who sends get-well cards to our sick members... and sends sympathy cards to those who have lost loved ones. Bob has passed on, and now it's time to offer our love and comfort to Edyth.
